Bylaws/Resolutions Committee

About the Committee

The purpose of the Bylaws/Resolutions Committee is to gather proposed amendments and resolutions from members according to the guidelines established in the MCB Bylaws.

The committee consists of a Chairman and a member appointed from each affiliate.  The committee holds an open meeting before the annual convention to discuss the proposed amendments and make a recommendation as to whether the amendments should be adopted or defeated by the convention.  The amendments are then read, discussed and voted on during the convention.

MCB members must send their proposed amendments and resolutions to the Committee Chairman by July 15 of each year.  The MCB office circulates the proposed amendments and resolutions to the membership by August 20 of each year.  The pre-convention meeting is generally held on the Friday morning before the annual convention held in October.
